Parking: A parking permit is paid for, but this does not necessarily allow you to park outside Lower Deck, it could be alongside the properties on hill or behind the buildings at the top of the hill in the square - there are numbered parking bays indicated on the road. Entrance: to Lower Deck is from the roadside through a gateway up 3 steps, turn to your right to then walk down 3 steps into the patio/garden area on ground level. There are 6 steps in all. There is no ramp to the main entrance –the front door is of a stable door design. There are no other entrances. There is external lighting above the front window, which is movement activated and can be switched on/off from inside the apartment. The courtyard garden measures 10 x 15 feet. Patio set. Fabulous views of the harbour & Tenby Town surrounds you. There are changing levels within the apartment with lounge/kitchen/diner and daybed room & wet room being on the ground floor with the main double bedroom/ensuite situated on the first floor. Access to first floor is via stairs located in the daybed room. From the front door, walking through the lounge and into the kitchen/dining area is a level and flat floor area - however from the kitchen/dining area to the right there is one step up into the hall area which leads into the daybed room & wet room with stairs (12 steps) leading to first floor. There is also 1 step up from the kitchen out to the back patio. At the top of the stairs you turn right onto the top landing and there is a doorway into the bedroom - the bedroom is a flat and level floor area. TV operated by remote control. There are heat and smoke detectors, a fire blanket and fire extinguisher in the property. There is a basic first aid kit Guide dogs are welcome. Public transport goes as far as the top of the hill so you would have to walk - there is pedestrianisation each year July, August, Sept so please check with the Pembrokeshire council for access and bus services. Train station is Warren Street, Tenby for car free holidays.

Our second stay here. Lovely cottage. We found it clean and tidy on arrival. Thank you for the wine! Beach is amazing as usual, a special place. Love it here.

Fab cottage, thanks!

ower Deck is such a lovely property located right in the harbour. The apartment is cosy on space but it's perfect for 2 or 3 people and a dog. Furnished in a nautical theme and to a very high standard, it has a back terrace that you fish from (when the tide is in), plus a sun-trap front terrace with nice garden furniture. This was our second time at Lower Deck and we were lucky to have fab weather so used the front terrace quite a lot! Access to beach is up the hill and turn left or from the property you can take some steep steps down to beach when the tide is out. Tenby centre is 2 mins walk up the hill where there are lots of cafes and restaurants. Our favourite was The Fat Seagull where we enjoyed hearty brunch and also dined there for dinner on two occasions. We love Tenby and can't wait to visit again.

Mr and Mrs Harper

We spent four nights at Lower Deck after a busy and hectic Christmas! It was just what we wanted, cosy cottage, near the sea and town. We must say, we stay in a lot of cottages in Wales/England and it has to be said Lower Deck is the most cosy, stylish cottage we have stayed in so far. Even though it's a small cottage, it's been cleverly designed and the spaces are well utilised, the wet room is lovely. Thanks for a lovely stay. We will deffinetley recommend to friends and family. P.S Sam the dog loved the walks on the beach!

Mark and Family

We have had such a relaxing chilled out time. Food at The Moorings was sensational. We have been so lucky with the weather. If you have a dog, The Buccaneer is a great place to have great food and sit outside in a covered and warm place. Carew Castle is a good place to go. This has been our best stay with our Labrador Marley.

The Hurst Family

We thought Lower Deck was lovely when we stayed in October, but now it is absolutely fantastic! We loved everything about it. The decor is fine, the furniture is fine, the bed is so comfortable, please do not change anything! We love the outside furniture at both the front and the back of the property, you can now follow the sun! Thank you for lowering the wall at the back, it improves the view 100%. Our stay here is totally positive we have nothing negative to say. Well done to whoever designed and decorated Lower Deck you have done a really good job! We love Tenby so much and have been coming here for 34 years! We're hoping we can make Lower Deck our home from home. See you soon!

Our dog Jessica had a wonderful time, sitting outside, at the front enjoying a glass of wine, many passers-by commented that it was the best spot in Tenby. I agree. Perfect 'pad'. Would love to return in the near future. Also try and visit Manorbier.
